Took the advice of a wise man at ( http://www.fordification.com/discbrakes01.htm ) on how to convert the front end to a Disk brake system. Went to the local junk yard and purchased the entire front suspension from a 1973 ford pickup. So now I have disk brakes under the front. The truck also had no parking brakes so when I pulled the rear tires I noticed the cables were cut and the brackets that attach the cable to rear brakes was gone and the stabilizer bar that goes across the brakes was also missing on both sides. Now I understand how the front bumper and front fender got damaged.
